We worked with the Marketing team at Video Fest to come up with a creative marketing idea for Marget A. Donnelly’s book. We decided to create a contest to turn Margaret’s book into a movie and to do a giveaway of 1500.00 or a trip that was won by the most interesting ideas that were submitted.
We wrote the script, directed, produced, shot the video, lit it, did the makeup and hair. In addition, we shot an image of the book, shot the background of ivy and photoshopped it in. Then, we edited the video.
Once the video was complete we embedded it within the enhanced ebook for Dallas Video Fest’s Film Festival and created links to Margaret’s website. We finished off the campaign with copyrighting and photoshopped images that would have people take action on the website. We also embedded the video into the website and created a submission button. We set up an ecommerce button as well for people who were interested in purchasing the book.
